Vermont colleges, universities will continue to not allow pot on campus

(NBC5, January 26) Colleges and universities across Vermont will not be changing their marijuana policies, despite the recent bill passage to legalize the drug. 

On Monday, officials with the University of Vermont sent out a statement to students making it clear that current policy will remain.

"This new law does not change UVM's policies prohibiting cannabis on campus," the statement said in part.
