(University of Arkansas) The U of A Police Department will participate in the Drug Enforcement Administration's "National Drug Take Back Day" and will accept all excess drugs and used needles from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Administrative Services Building, 155 S. Razorback Rd.
The U of A is an official drug collection site. Officers will be available on Saturday for the community to drive up and drop off prescription drugs. The building, which houses UAPD, also has a permanent "drug dropbox" that can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The dropbox has collected nearly 600 pounds of excess drugs since the previous take back day in 2024.
